Snail Pace

Week number two! Or maybe three! Could possibly even be four. Time has turned into taffy during these pandemic times, I am no longer bound by conventional means like 'days of the week' or 'mornings and afternoons.' Here's what I've been up to this past whatever. Reading out loud! Every night I grab a book and try to read out loud for at least 20 minutes into the crappy microphone in my dollar store headphones. Now, this might be antithetical to wanting to be a voice actor but I absolutely hate the sound of my own voice. Listening back to my recordings makes me want to text everyone I know and apologize to them for having to put up with hearing me talk. I do know that I'll be seeking out a lot of auditions for 'annoying and quirky best friend' though.  Workshops! Gravy for the Brain has some amazing workshops and archived videos where they answer subscriber questions. There's a lot of information to take in so I have been diligently taking notes. ...
